  • You said you were disappointed by another controller. Why was that?

Have you looked into converter/adaptors that let you use pretty much any controller on the Xbox like the Brook Wingman XB2 and XB3?

I got the M30 on a deal from aliexpress and it's one of the mushiest godawful things I've ever used, and it also died inside half an hour (dpad stuck down). On googling it this didn't seem like an uncommon error with it either, and this was a late revision of the pad with the latest firmware. The Series X controller I use has a vastly better dpad with much better feedback and feel.

Took a gamble on the 8Bitdo NEOGEO Wireless Controller 2.4 a few weeks later and it's ridiculously better in comparison. The "pad" is a small microswitched lever and great for some games, but isn't ideal for some fighting games (great feedback, wonderful to roll around in shmups etc, but quite difficult to do any double press direction dash moves on) and it has membrane buttons.

This one has microswitch buttons, but an analogue stick and a membrane dpad. Just wish I could get 6+2 or +4 microswitched buttons, and a microswitch traditional style dpad without a stick on it.

      • I bought my first 8bitdo for Xbox (ultimate I think). Also very disappointed, RB button stopped working after a month or two. Never again

6 face buttons needs to make a comeback

  • @stimutacs Thankyou very much! I got 2 and with the extra discount it works out $66.85 per controller, that's an excellent price for a very good fight game controller imo! Cheers 👍🏆🍻🍕
