"Not recommended for Mac users" in case any are interested: https://www.belkin.com/au/p/14-port-usb-c-docking-station-65…

    • Probably because most of the Apple Silicon macbooks (in particular the earlier models, I think) only support using 1 external monitor.
Although there is a workaround with some specialty Docks.

      • +1

Its more because they don’t support DisplayPort MST.

The workaround is a displaylink dock, and it's still pretty janky. They're virtual monitors, essentially, so have some pretty noticeable input lag.

Mostly fine but a bit irritating for office work, absolutely useless for anything input lag sensitive (eg games).

      • That is only true of MacBook Air. MacBook Pro supports more than 1 external monitor.

  • Can this support dual monitor on m1 macbook pros

  • At least it seems to be able to do dual 4k @ 60hz?

  • Will this dock be able to output 2x1440p Dell monitors? I stupidly purchased the Dell WD19S dock (USB-C Docking Station with 130W Power Delivery (210-AZCF)) which exhibits strange behaviour - I can only plug in 1 hdmi in whereas both my monitors have either hdmi or usb c out only. Any advice would be appreciated. Currently running single usb c dock cable into laptop and separate hdmi cable directly from second monitor to laptop. Hoping to have one cable solution for my setup.

Not 100% sure here, but I think it is a bandwith problem. Your dock has some older USB-C standard that cannot push through enough data to feed those two monizors. Look at the TB Thunderbolt version of the Dell docks. They have a USB-C cable too but use a different protocol. Also check that your laptop supports Thunderbolt on at least one of your USB-C connectors. Ideally TB3 or at least TB2.

    • I have the WD19TB and it supports dual 4k monitors @60Hz on my M1 Pro MBP, while also using the built-in display.

Shame that PD passthrough is limited to just 65W, probably why its discounted in the first place.

  • 3x 4k/30fps kills the deal.

    I need 3x 4k 60fps

    • Judging by my own dock browsing, I think that in looking for triple 4K@60 plus 100W PD, we're looking for unicorns…

Even this product is odd with the monitor port arrangement - #1=HDMI, #2=DP+HDMI, #3=DP+USB-C(DP)

  • 65W PD is a bit too weak TBH

  • I’ve got two monitors - ones 1440p at 165hz. Does it support higher refresh rates at lower res?
