[iOS] Free: TCards - Rewards Card Manager @ Apple App Store

Moved to Forum: Original Link

Its an app to manage multiple everyday rewards cards and flybuys cards

I believe a lot of us might have more than one everyday rewards card / flybuys cards (eg. cards shared with family member's name)
Each rewards account usually have targeted offers (eg. Spend $x for x points, or Free product) and it is sometimes hard to manage all these cards
I have tried using stocard app for managing cards but its a bit painful sometimes when the app keep restarted when calling bring back from background

Thus, for my personal use case and interest, created this app "TCards" to manage all these cards
The app is totally free and No Ad, data are stored locally within the phone (except you use the data backup feature, which will be stored in your personal iCloud)

Here are some key features:
  • Adding multiple Everyday rewards cards and Flybuys cards (Also supports OnePass)
  • Show barcode of each card to be scanned in-store
  • Backup and Restore cards
  • Transfer cards to another phone (using QR code)
For everday rewards card
  • one click to View current offers (and boost offers), no login is required
  • View account details (such as reward points, fuel discounts). this requires login but it will cached the session. If you have put email and password to the app, it may auto filling credentials in the login page. Note that it is optional to save credentials in the app. ^ Currently everyday rewards website have 2 different login interface and are randomly shown. The newer login interface does not support login auto filling given it is using a iframe.
For flybuys card
  • one click to View current offers (and boost offers). This requires login but login sessions will be cached for 30 days.

Welcome to provide feedbacks on the app. As stated earlier, its just for my personal interest and no intention to make profit on it.

If you like the app, putting a good review score in appstore would be appreciated.

If you doesn't like the app, welcome to provide feedbacks as well. It is just my personal side project so I might not have a frequent update schedule, but will try my best to improve the app. For Android users, once the iOS version is stable, it will be my next goal.

Please be kind not to give me too many negs on this……. Thanks heaps!

  • You’re smart enough to be reading the comments, you are smart enough to understand why this may not be the best of ideas (security wise)

Always check if its right for you 👍

    • totally understand in regards to security concerns
any credentials input are optional in the app
at the minimum, just putting flybuys / everyday rewards card number to show barcode in store
believe this should be "less risky"?

The native Apple Wallet already does this very well. Showing points, name, barcode etc. Multiple cards from the same vendor are even grouped together so it's easy to select the one you want. Why would anyone want to install another app..

    • When you have multiple cards and each card has a different target offer, I always want to check I am using the right card before scanning

eg. Card A has spend $50 for 2000 points while Card B has spend $80 for 2000 points

The Apple wallet will just show you points and name, but not the offer you have activated. You can only install one rewards / flybuys app and have one account logged in at any point in time, so creating this app to helps in easier access to the offers

    • how can you add reward cards to apple wallet? i've only ever used an app and it creates the card and stores it in a kind of picture of the card, doesn't display points or anything

  • I can see how you thought this was a good idea but since stocard has never crashed on me (XR) and the rewards app itself exists, I can't see the value add here.
I only have 1 rewards account so maybe I'm not the target market.
I just need an app to quickly show the barcode in-store and be able to boost everything once a week.

Yes, if you only have one card, using the dedicated rewards app has the best experience which I totally agree

I only started having this app as an idea when I found my family members all having different offers , and some offers are way better than others. For example, my primary card has a spend $120 for 4weeks for 10000 flybuys offer, while my partner one only requires spending $50 per week for 4 weeks

Yep, if you are doing that, then your app makes sense. All the best, well done for executing on a good idea.

        • thanks mate :)

Nice one on creating an app based on a personal need; I did a similar thing many years ago when an Android user. I doff my hat to you! 🙂

Best of success with your app and your future ones.

    • thanks and appreciated :)

  • Great idea. If I login do you collect the username and password or is it something hot held on my device?

    • +1

No data is collected, the login sessions are all stored locally. Both everyday rewards and flybuys also requires OTP so it also gives you second level of protection (never share your OTP)

Hope you enjoy the app :)

      • Nice. Was hoping you’d say that. Just added 6 cards. Nice idea. The amount of time I waste logging out and in to accounts in store to check offers and then pick the right card to use!

      • good app simple screen worked straight away.
expect to add sequence adjustment in next ver, so I can move primary cards to top.

edit: found change background color to make highlighted, good work

it is also possible to move the sequence
just hold the card for 3 seconds and you can drag up or down to move change the order :)

  • Is this like STOCARD?
    STOCARD is amazing with ios

    • its more than what Stocard can do
it allows user to view and activate offers, and view accounts / fuel discounts etc. (without needing to logout and login each time)

welcome to download and try it :)

  • Whilst I get why you’ve done it like this. I’d like to see an All Cards view and just have both brands cards showing in one view

  • This is what I need- to view offers without logging in and out. Looking forward to the android version as I don't use apple…

Android version is the way, hopefully able to publish by early October
