Why did I read that as Free - Once upon a Jetstar

    • +4

      I did the same!

It sounds like your brain might have automatically filled in "Jetstar" because it's a familiar word or brand to you, especially if you're accustomed to seeing "Jetstar" often in your daily life or region. This is a common phenomenon called a "contextual reading error," where the brain interprets unfamiliar or unexpected words as something more familiar. The words "Jester" and "Jetstar" share similar beginning and ending sounds, making it an easy slip for the brain to make.

Yes, when we read its very easy to undesrtand words so long as the start and finish are correct.

Playing this game with my toddler at the moment and it is excellent

Will give it a go with my youngest. She's not real into games and doesnt have the coordination for most of them. You'd think they'd cater to that more.

Was playing through an interactive fiction game last night which she quite enjoyed:- https://ifdb.org/viewgame?id=kbd990q5fp7pythi

      • Yeah it's basically me playing the game while she directs me to talk to characters she likes and use stickers for the show posters. I'll check out that fiction game.

  • I think I've played this it's the one where you can interrupt the stage plays it's quite funny
