2x Free Postage Labels @ eBay Australia

390

Just saw this 2x free postage banner on my eBay (Australia) page.

  • Who is eligible for this promotion?

You do not have a current eBay Store subscription.

You have had less than 100 orders or less than AUD $12k in sales over the past 12 months.

This promotional offer is not transferable or exchangeable.

The promotion is linked to the eBay account under which it appears. Qualifying sellers must list using the User ID associated with that eBay account.
Members whose eBay accounts are temporarily or indefinitely suspended or made inactive prior to or during the Promotion Period are not eligible for this promotion.

You are eligible for this promotion if you have been emailed about this promotional offer

  • What is the promotion?

"Post your next two items for FREE ($0.00) with an Australia Post or Sendle postage service through eBay’s label platform during the Promotion Period.
For the avoidance of doubt, if you cancel the label, you will not be eligible for an additional free label.
Only Australia Post Parcel Post, Sendle drop-off and Sendle pick-up delivery services will be eligible for the promotion.
A Sendle drop-off label may be emailed to you as soon as your item sells, if the buyer address is in a Sendle eligible delivery location.

As soon as your item sells, select ‘purchase postage label’
Select an Australia Post or Sendle postage service marked as ‘free’
A postage label will be created for you to print and attach to your parcel

Terms and conditions are on the URL Link.

Not sure how what's the maximum amount of postage Australia Post/Sendle will absorb. Wish they would also resume giving us the 0% variable fee listings.

It doesn’t work for some reason on my eBay account despite having the banner too

    • Me too, none of my accounts have it despite all being eligible.

      • Do you qualify?

You have had less than 100 orders or less than AUD $12k in sales over the past 12 months.

Give us a $0 FvF you cowards!

    • "No, I'm happy reaping 14% of your sold price AND postage cost, whilst paying virtually no tax" - ebay probably.

  • You are eligible for this promotion if you have been emailed about this promotional offer.

    • Do you happen to know when eBay sends out an email to your email address, does the email also appear within the eBay “Messages” inbox?

Not selling anything until they bring back the no FVF promos as I won't be paying their exorbitant selling fees.

    • Still better than dealing with Facebook users.

    • What do you think is fair for a platform that reaches your items to 5x the users than elsewhere?

      • There is no perfect platform, you come across scum bags and scammers every where including Ebay and you have the privilege of paying them 14% in fees.

        • YRMV.

I've nearly been stabbed from selling on Gumtree. Worst that's happened on eBay is I've been scammed for $15 out of probably 200 sales.

They can take the 14%, especially when you consider that items sell for more on eBay.

          • @pharcyde: Yeah I've heard a few horror stories now about violet scum bags and where someone actually did get stabbed. I hope you called the cops and had that POS arrested. People have also reported thieving dirt bags doing a runner without paying for items.

  • Worked for me like a charm, thanks OP!

    • Did you get a email from ebay about the promotion? If so what was the subject?

  • Targetted

  • yep assumed i qualifiied, but didin't see in my ebay (missed that). It's not like previous promos where it says "sorry not qualified" on clicking through to the promotion.

Works for me now too, wasn't working when it was first posted. Also appears above Selling promotions on my My eBay Selling Overview page. I see it on 2 of my 3 eBay Plus accounts, all of them meet the terms.

    • I can't see that on any of my eBay accounts. Did eBay send you a email about this promotion on those accounts?

      • No emails. I randomly checked the My eBay Selling Overview page on my main account and noticed the promo banner.

    • Got it on all 3 now. The banner may be random, try reloading the page.
