‘Memory Minder’ Function with Gooloo Jump Pack?

Hey All Gooloo’ers…

Anyone know if there is a way to use it as a ‘memory minder’, similar to these.

I know you can charge the e gooloo off the accessories socket, but dunno if it goes the other way too? Couldn’t see anything in the manual about it…

I guess you could connect the jump pack clamps to the battery leads, but doesn’t seem safe.

  • The gooloo does have a 12v output, you could always wire it to your car yourself. Does not come with male ciggy plug though, only female. The boosted output cuts off after 30 seconds or so, but the standard 12v output does not. I've used it to run camping stuff

    • Wonder how much ‘smarts’ are inside the proper memory minders… would expect a diode to prevent sending 12v into the 9V battery they use, probably nothing else…

Though, have seen you can get a odb2 based one which connects to USB… maybe that’s a better option as odb2 I think has live power all the time & don’t need to remember to have car on acc like with the cig lighter adapters; could then run that off the gooloo… kinda defeats the purpose of trying to save a buck at that point though haha

      • yeahhh potentially, what sort of car do you have? Personally I've never bothered and just swapped the battery without much issue. Just have to reset the clock

        • Just got a 2016 lancer, assuming the stock radio will have a security code & don’t wanna stuff around trying to find that out hah.

          • @NoDowt: I had a 2013 mirage, had no issues changing battery on that. But you're right your mileage may vary
