Do Ultimate Gift Cards Get Discounted on a Schedule?

I'm thinking of buying some furniture at IKEA and would like to know if it's likely Ultimate gift cards will go on sale soon. Is there a (loose) schedule for such things? That is, can it be predicted when discounted Ultimate gift cards will come around again a bit like how ALDI say sells fridges in November every year.

How often do Ultimate gift cards get discounted by 10%?

    My suggestion is to look at two places:

    1. The Ultimate gift card Product Tag on OzBargain. (I just added that Product Tag to this forum post.)

    2. The Gift Card History page on FreePoints. This would be much easier to search than the Product Tag on OzBargain, but FreePoints only tracks gift card promotions at some retailers (e.g. Coles, Woolworths, BIG W). For example, ALDI and Australia Post have run 10% off Ultimate gift card deals in the past, but those do not appear on FreePoints, because FreePoints is focussed on deals where you earn loyalty points.
