  This is obviously a cheaper version of the other 2.5Ah battery so it's likely using budget cells and maybe electronics, but for the money I'll take it. I did open it up and I can't see a brand name on the cells but they are actually 2600mAh 20650 cells, not the usual 18650s.

    The black batteries are usually identical and used for price matching Aldi.

    I was in store when the Einhell/Ozito rep was there. He said it’s a Father’s Day special, battery is the usual battery, it’s a no brainer when the charger alone is that price.

    Probably okay for home use.

    Big brand names charge a premium for reliability and peak performance, Ozito is not really known for any of that. But it does have a trick up its sleeve: 5 years warranty, and you can simply walk into any Bunnings to sort it out, usually on the spot.
