The traditional Indian 2 pin sockets are different in width, but in most modern homes you will find a hybrid contraption that should work, it even takes our aussie plugs. Otherwise you can buy something like this https://www.amazon.in/dp/B0116MIKKC

  That was the one Brother support tried on me. And when I refused, it meant that I never got the printer from them working. Or at least I think it was Brother support.
