      I tried twice, got bored doing the first 2 hours before it allowed you to open up the game. Maybe third time's a charm.

      i've been playing it very slowly. very. I've been 'saving' it and not rushing to finish it. Not that you will be rushing to finish it - there's so many areas where you will spend a lot of time, and time flies by while doing nothing.

      Is it the greatest game ever? t's a bit of a late 1800s / early 1900s America simulator to an extent - there is rarely any racism or sexism or prostitution etc. Very detailed in many places, you can learn about animals and plants, play poker etc.

      It is a great game? It's not bad. It is definitely a simulator (to an extent) and for that reason, is addictive and is 'great'.

      Being able to play over 30 fps makes the game that much better in my opinion. Never used any mods so can’t talk on that.

      I’ve played only this one and it was great.
      This one is actually a prequel to first as I understand it.

      I dusted off the PS3 and finally played the first - zero regrets. Game holds up. It's a great story, and it's how it was intended I suppose.
