Reverse Cycle Split System, Anyone Know of Any Good Deals at The Moment?

I'm going to be renovating a master bedroom soon and the ducted aircon we have doesn't reach where this bedroom is going, so I need a split system installed.

Anyone knows of any good deals, cash backs or rebates.

I did have a look at the usual few companies that gave cash backs in the past but none of them have offerings at the moment.

Saw this at Appliance Online

Anyone with experience with Rinnai AC, I've only ever used LG, Fujitsu and Mitsubishi split systems

Thanks in advance.

  • 5.2kw for a bedroom?Wouldn't touch a Rinnai.

Wouldn't touch a Rinnai. They are $1,265 for a reason.Plus you have installation costs.

Decent brand as Mitsubishi inverter, is $2,500 installed single story back to back.

Have 3 LGs, you don't need to go to big for a bedroom it will just cut in and out quicker. Found these guys have good prices but I would pick it up. Remote control by phone is handy at times. https://wholesaleaircon.com.au/products/lg-air-conditioning-…

    • Thanks. The website is great… prices look ok too.

  • We have a mitsubishi 2.5kw for the bedroom. It suits us as we generally close the door to the master so it's only heating/cooling the bedroom and study (ensuite door closed) about 30m2 all up. It's therefore super, super quiet on quiet, low energy mode, and doesn't kick in and out as much as a more powerful system would.

    • MHI or Mitsubishi Electric?

  • Melbourne based installer Ecogeek https://ecogeek.au/ and Glowgreen https://glowgreen.com.au are currently offering great discounts on split system air conditioners (on Emerald Energy, Carrier, Midea units).
