Was looking for a small portable keyboard and saw that this was on discount. Compared to it's competitors and similar products, it seems like it's the best all-rounder - so it's a bonus it's on discount.

Reasons to buy this? In my particular case, it's so I can have something to play whilst sitting on the floor looking after the baby. It's battery portable (so no need for wires), rugged and it's cheap enough that I don't really care if it gets damaged or slobbered on. So it suits me perfectly for that scenario.

    I was looking into the Casio and it was a) more expensive b) seems like there's only international stock on Amazon. So went with this.
