Not $12.74 but still and OK discount.

      Thanks. Will wait.

      • No problem, just keep in mind you need to be very quick to not miss out.

            INIU it!

    • +1

      I prefer $10.49

      • Who wouldn't? $12.74 is just the most recent one.

        • +2

I'm aware, I bought 1 on August 10th for $10.49, and 1 just 3 days ago for $12.74. I was waiting for the bigger one to be on sale, but it's always around $70-ish to $90, so I got 2 of these small ones instead.

          • @RiseAndRuin: same, i had the 10.49 one. 10000mAh just not enough

            • @ce5himm: That's more of an indicative figure for the capacity, but for the price, I'm happy with what I got.

              https://goughlui.com/2023/08/21/quick-review-iniu-megapower-…

              • +2

@RiseAndRuin: Note that Gough's review was an earlier version with different rated cells. (10,500 mAh vs 10,000 mAh)

I have one of the 10,500 mAh versions, and it tests at higher capacity than Gough's (and is still holding up fine) so they might have been a but more variable earlier on.

(I also test power banks but the OzBargain rules mean I can't link to my reviews. If you Google "best power banks Australia" my buyers guide comes up though. The INIU B6 is my top budget recommendation.)

I have a few of the B6 and buy more when highly discounted to give as gifts. I often swap the older gifted ones with new ones and then test the old ones. So far they are all holding up very well.

      waiting on the small INIU

a small INIU is not very satisfying for most people…

        Thanks JV. Very helpful.

No worries… Would not want you to be disappointed.

FYI it's not smaller overall. (I have both)

The B61 you link to is shorter and slightly less wide but much thicker than the B6 in this deal.

The overall volume is the same – both are about 135mL in my measurements. The B6 is ~ 8 grams heavier. B6 = 212 grams. B61 = 204 grams.

I prefer the B6. Being slim makes it easier to put in a pocket or bag IMO.

      • Either is fine and much the same.
Only 22w 10,000 and cheap so either is fine. Does this one have a stand too.

        • Yep has the stand but no LED torch. The torch is pretty dim but still very handy - and it will run for days.

          • @Prong: Ha don't think that is necessary

            • @G-rig: I have a million actual torches so felt the same. But have used the B6 torch it more than I would have thought!

Mostly stuff like leaving it on as a nightlight in case I need to get up in a dark hotel room when travelling. Or looking for stuff in a bag on a plane, or somewhere dark. I even left it on the roof of my houseboat every night for a week when the anchor light died while on holidays.

I haven't actually timed how long it will run for. Weeks probably…

  • I like these. Own too many though.

    • +1

If you connect 6 in parallel, you can use them to jump start your Tesla.

    • Ended up getting the 140W one. Now its like father and son

  • 30%? He's dreamin'

These were 10$ not long ago, and the mini $14 (which I grabbed).

  • This or the Veektomx ones

    https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/aw/d/B09C8CFKLJ/ref=ox_sc_act_i…

Even noting that the 3rd photo in each are similar

    • One port is a micro usb in only so you can only use that port to charge the powerbank. Waste of a port. Also nothing uses micro-usb these days anymore.

      • Good thing it has USB-C input. No need to use microUSB to charge.

    • +1

The Veektomx one is a little smaller.
Having owned both, the smaller size is nice for throwing in the pocket and a bit more convienient (but does make it easier to lose haha)
I've have noticed that it does have a weird high pitched sound when charging on a PD / Fast charging charger (have confirmed this is the same case with 4 other same model powerbanks).

Another weird thing about both is that the USB port can put out 22.5w, but the USB C port can only do 20w, not that 2.5w would make much difference.

      • +1

The 22.5W is 5V 4.5A which is/was used by some Huawei phones.

The 20W from USB-C is what matters.

Though this Veektomx power bank (VT103) is only 7,500 mAh, not 10,000 mAh. And the cells are not very good quality and not rated for fast charging. I have one a bit over a year old and it has lost a lot of capacity just sitting there unused (at half charge) while my similar age INIU B6 that gets used all the time has barely any capacity loss.

        • Ahh that makes sense, I was wondering why my pixel 8p was only getting about 1.5 charges from it. Thought it was just the battery degrading over time!
Have had it for about 1 year and it doesn't seem to have degraded much.

I wonder if the INIU Mini ‎BI-B61 is also falsely advertising 10,000 mAh. Looks like the same form factor

          • +1

@MyEducation: The B61 is the full 10,000 mAh. I have one of those too :D (I test power banks as part of my day job).

The B61 isn't as small as it looks and is quite thick. Much thicker than the Veektomx VT103.

The overall volume of the B61 and the B6 is the same – both are about 135mL in my measurements. The B6 is ~ 8 grams heavier. B6 = 212 grams. B61 = 204 grams.

I have not opened them up, but the B61 may use the exact same cells – just stacked on top of each other rather than side by side.

          • @MyEducation: I think your fine if you get 2x full charges from a 10,000. More for convenience when you aren't near an outlet or can't be bothered.

I got the mini and it is fine.

    • This Veektomx power bank lies about the spec - it's 7,500 mAh not 10,000 mAh.
The cells can handle fast charging either - buy the INIU B6 as it's great quality, meets the rated spec and has a 3-year warranty.

  • Just noticed that this is Prime only, can one of the mods change the title? I can't.

Edit: I have reported the deal, mods will get to it.

    • Why don't you have prime?
Pay annually, the free delivery pays for itself quickly and you get video too. Of course if you don't buy anything from them then no point.

      • I do have Prime (for now). I meant that I couldn't change the title, it was weird, something about not being able to change the store.

        • Wouldn't worry about it, I think everyone knows it's free delivery of you got Prime.

          • @G-rig: It mattered because the price was Prime only. $25.49 with Prime, $29.99 without, the 30% off coupon still applied but the final price was different. See the comment below.

            • @Hiphopopotamus: Yeah well obviously don't by anything from Amazon if you don't have prime.

  • Coming up as $20.99 for me.

  • Are they worth the low price or should I just save up for an Anker? My Powercore just died because water got in.

    • +1

These have good efficiency and are really good value. One day they'll stop doing these loss leading sales.

  • Dammit i keep missing this..
