Best Browser for ShopBack/TopCashback

I generally have high security and privacy settings on my browsers. These seem to be stopping shopback tracking - which is good, that's what they are meant to do! But it's costing me in other ways.

I am thinking I'll need a specific browser to use shopback when I want to. What browser would you recommend for this? What luck have you had with browser extensions?

Any modern browser based on PortableApps.com system. Turn off all protections, accept all cookies and junk, install official extensions on only this portable browser.

I'd probably just use the app on phone myself.

I've had 0 issues with tracking via phone app.

I've had plenty with a browser even if I disable adblockers and other extensions.

  • I use a Chrome and set the DNS to Cloudflare in the browser to bypass my DNS-level blocking. It seems to have the best compatibility and has tracked everything (dual meaning intended). It's been more reliable than doing the same in Firefox-based browser.

  • I just use Microsoft Edge with zero extensions. My regular browser has all the usual security extensions and I use a VPN. I do all my browsing using my regular browser and only use Microsoft edge with VPN bypassed when I want to use cashback stuff. I don't really even browse the stores with Edge, I pretty much just add to basket (usually from browsing history) when I know exactly what I want to buy.

  • Thanks everyone. I already use Edge and Chrome for work with lots of extensions, so I'm trialling the Portable-Apps version of opera, and I'll also trial Firefox.
