Went into Mad Mex for lunch today, went to show my loyalty card from my Google Wallet which didn't work anymore. Seems Mad Mex have a "new app" and along with this they have changed their loyalty program for the worse: https://www.madmex.com.au/loyalty/
No longer do you get a free birthday burrito, instead you get a $5 birthday credit - worse than half, as a free regular burrito/naked burrito was worth $11.90 before
No longer do you get 1 meal for free after buying 10 meals (effectively 10% off). Instead you get $0.05 back for every $1 spent (essentially 5% off now, half the value of before)
Seems shrinkflation is hitting again, this time to loyalty programs!
