  • The back panel looks great!
I’m 175cm tall and weigh 77kg, which is considered well-proportioned.
I want to go hiking. Is this suitable for me?

I’m already working out to lose weight! Just you wait and see, I’ll do it!

If you want to go on daywalks and don't have a regular backpack, then this should be fine.
Personally, I don't bother with spending serious money on daypacks, and would say any good comfortable backpack should work. I'd only really consider this pack if you're going bushbashing and want something with better fabric (this is most certainly not you) or have money to spend.

If you want to go on overnight trips carrying tent and sleeping bag, you'll need to get a larger hiking pack, around 50 - 70L. For your height, most packs from Anaconda should fit you and last a few years of casual use (plus can be found for a fair bit cheaper).

  • Good pack and nice price

  • Got one, looks better than my hikelite. Thanks OP

Seems like there are quite a few things on sale.

  • Has anyone use the Osprey Tropos? Any feedback? Cheers

Osprey, and military packs from 5.11 and Tasmanian Tiger (Tasmanian Tiger is owned by German brand Tatonka) were by far the most popular amongst people that were serious about hiking, camping, and survival when I worked for a camping/outdoor and military gear retailer in recent years, followed by BlackWolf.
