You're right, Kmart is overcharging for those crappy work boots. They used to be $20-30.
Kmart work boots are fine for the first few weeks, after which you will need to buy something better quality (like Steel Blue).
I take it you don't have personal experience with working in steel caps if you think Kmart boots are the same thing. Happy to enlighten you further 😊
Fwiw before you call me a shill, I'm fine with most of my wardrobe being Kmart level garments but there are a few things worth investing in, work equipment being one of them

Fanzao, yes they are a real business, the only thing to be aware of with that boot is its nitrile outsole, which has a higher temp rating , but is considerably heavier then standard TPU outsole. The boot in this link is the same but with TPU outsole, DM me if you want a price beat:)
