So I got my latest bill last week and it was $30 less than the usual $99.
Then today I get a text saying Telstra have discounted my plan by $30 for 12 months.
My contract expires in October so I guess they want to keep me but I will port out regardless.
Something to look out for if you are nearing the end of your contract from the $1200 GC bonus.
Just to check I'm reading this correctly, you were near the end of your contract and they automatically dropped the price (I think the$99 plan JB plan is about equivalent to the 65 normal Telstra one fwiw)? Good to know if so… Wonder if you can get this earlier and leverage to reduce cancellation fee
Correct. Though I doubt they are going to be reducing by more than 2 or 3 months worth.
I just got an email saying my Telstra plan cost is going up and any current discounts will be cancelled.
I can either accept it or leave.

Took a Jbhifi had $1100 giftcard with $99 Telstra plan for 24 months contract plan couple of weeks back .. not sure if they still have it
