eufy S1 Pro Omni Robovac $1880 (Save $819) + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ The Good Guys Commercial (Membership Required)

110

The eufy S1 Pro Omni robovac and mop was just recently released at JB Hifi and The Good Guys for $2699 but available on The Good Guys Commercial for $1880. So far the reviews have been pretty good. It seems to be the best robomop on the market and a pretty decent vacuum. The obstacle detection is great as well.

The mop has a rotating mop drum similar to Bissell systems. So far I am quite happy with the results.

Been running a pre-release one of these for the last 12 months and it’s been great!

    • Just out of curiosity, how did you get the pre-release version? Any forms that I can fill up 😉

  • Does anyone know how to to use TGG gifts cards on their TGG commercial website

I think its Credit card/Paypal only

Can't use GCs but you can get a quote from the TGGC site and then take it to a store to see if they'll match it.

I've had success with this in the past but is hit and miss, as they don't generally price match the Commercial sites.

      • I got my local TGG to price match the Commercial store on a french door fridge and an upright freezer - different times & transactions. YMMV.

    Oh boy!
A device with an rgb camera from Eufy
    Prepare for privacy nightmare

Honestly, if you look into the details, it was a gigantic nothingburger. Clickbait. Eufy was fulfilling their promise as much as Apple + Google APIs allowed them to. For what little data they did store in the cloud, they did not charge you. Every other device was worse.

I think the whole beat-up was a paid attempt by US brands to bolster their own privacy nightmares over this chinese unit with shockingly decent privacy protection. It's almost like engineers built this product for users, and not for their government's version of the CLOUD act. That is more than can be said for most products, Chinese or American.

Thanks OP! Now to wait the few days for the TGGC link from ART.

  • How would you rate this against Roborock Q Revo? I understand these both are in different price range but which one would be ideal for 30sq house with titles and carpet? No pets but human pets iykyk

    • If you look at the review of this eufy S1 Pro Omni you will see it is not that good at Carpet and even the mop roller can lift up when on the carpet it may still getting bit wet (probably because this roller mop was first introduced in the market and has not been improved yet) it is pretty good at floor mopping. For $1800 range you may compare this one with Roborock Q Revo Max V which could be a better option (Roborock Q Revo is a $1000 unit & Max V bring it to the next level BTW Roborock Q Revo Master version coming out soon not sure the price yet)

      • The Eufy is pretty good at carpet as well depending on which review you follow. It has been rated one of the best at Vacuum Wars best vacuum list

  • Aaaarghggh… I've been following everything on the S1 since the kickstarter which unfortunately Australia could not take part in….

I read on reddit that the S1 wasn't coming to Australia at all and finally bit the bullet early last week on the X10 pro…

Really happy with the X10 but just my luck that the S1 would become available a week later 🥺

The only saving grace for me (I think) is that I run my bot at night and the X10 has a LED light which the S1 does not. Given that I'm counting on decent object recognition at night, I think that this will be one of the few areas where the S1 will underperform compared to the X10.

If anybody has read anything on this topic, would be keen to know as I'm looking at my options in potentially swapping over from the X10 to the S1 somehow.

The S1 works fine in the dark, as it has infrared.

      • D'oh you're right… completely forgot about that! :D

Our Viomi Dreame Bot D90 Max has died due to sensor issues, so we are looking to replace it with something that has more bang for buck and a better build. I'm looking at this, Roborock Q Revo and the Eufy X10,, which one would be better for mixture of carpet and lino wood?

    • I have the Eufy x10 which I got from The Good Guys Commercial for around $1200. It has been working great over floorboards and carpet without issue. The only thing is that it does not do corners well and you need to manually add any detergent to the clean water tank.
