Lubluelu Robot Vacuum L20 - Getting Lost and Not Able to Go over 5mm Mats - Anyone Experienced This?

Hi all,

I got my L20 in July and it was great.

I recently noticed that instead of taking a logical path up and down, it spins around erratically and never finishes the clean. It also can't go over my floor mats (it could before) which are only 5mm high.

I updated the firmware and then did a full reset with no success. It now can't even complete a full map.

I'm emailing with Lubluelu now, but thought I'd ask her as well.

Anyone had similar experiences?

    • Unfortunately not. Everything looks good from what I can see.

    • Not true I have the SL60D and it's fantastic.

  • Did you get a response from Lubluelu? I sent a couple of support requests a few days ago and no response.

    • They said they are going to ship me a replacement.

      Not sure if it makes a difference, but I purchased mine via what I assume is their official store on Ebay.

  • I eventually rang the USA support number and was told to email [email protected] (I had been emailing [email protected] without response). They have likewise stated that they will send me a replacement. We will see if that works out.

    • I received my replacement today (complete box and not just the vacuum unit). Hopefully this one is better.

      Wish there was a fix, feels like such a waste to toss it.

      • I'll be email Lubluelu soon as I'm having the same, or very similar issue. The robot actually doesn't move more than a metre away from the charger and just keeps moving in little jerks here and there, even when I recall it to the station it never finds it's way back even though it might only be a foot away. I did notice that the mapping I had redone a week ago was made of circular lines instead of straight paths in the old mapping (I'd redone it because I set up some new furniture).

        Which email did you send to, service or [email protected]?

    • sorry for the very late reply… no I didn't have to return the old unit.

  • I bought the L20 and in trying to set it up today, it won't charge. Just stays at a constant 0% battery. I tried different power points, cleaning the contacts and charging in different positions but all failed. Anyone else with a similar issue?

  • I've got this same erratic behaviour from my L20. How's did you factory reset it? All the instructions don't seem to properly reset it. The lubluelu support is a bit hopeless sending new instructions to reset the SL60 reset instructions instead

  • I think hold down the 2 buttons on the front for 10 seconds. I could be wrong though.
