I'm about to head to Japan for about 20 days and was wondering where I can get SIM cards to use while there. I'll be mainly using it for Data as I make all my calls on WhatsApp and Facebook. I'm hoping to keep it under 2GB per day. Anyone know if there are any good deals out there at the moment?

Better to use a roaming sim like those sold by Simsdirect, TravelKon or Klook as the sims sold in Japan will usually cap your speed after a small amount of data each day even if they say "unlimited" or have a higher total data allowance. Alternatively, if you can use esim they usually have the best deals.
2Gb per day seems like a lot for just calls and general use.
Most hotels/airBNBs have free WiFi, I assume you are not going to be spend all your travel time during the day on your phone?
Does your phone have esim?
Look at the plans on https://esimdb.com/japanYep this. Unless you're an influencer planning to go live on social media and be live streaming significant parts of your trip, 2 GB a day is probably not necessary especially with the prevalence of wifi over there (and everywhere nowadays really).

I always use these guys - personally I prefer an eSIM if your phone allows it.
