Looking to Buy Narrow Bedside Table (25cm Wide)

The master bedroom in the duplex we're renting is very small, you can't close the door one way with a queen bed. Rotating the bed the other way gives more space near the door, but now there's very little room for bedside tables.

As a soon-to-be-dad, we're hoping to have a small cot in the bedroom with us. So we will have to sacrifice the bedside tables. The only issue is that I will need some small space to fit my CPAP machine. So I'm looking for a very narrow bedside table.

The only one I could find was from a scammy looking site. Does anyone have any recommendations or ikea hacks? Looking at the space, I have about 25cm width to play with before the bed is in the doorway area again. I'm not ruling out making one myself, but I was hoping to find an off the shelf solution first.

I was looking for one too and couldn't find anything with the right width and height. I do have one of these tray tables which might work for you?

  That might be your opinion but evidence based safe sleep practice (and discharge instructions) dictate that It is recommended that infants sleep in their own cot, in the same room as their parents or caregivers until 6 months
  I guess it is on the parent whether to follow recommended advice to reduce the chances of Sudden Unexpected Death in Infants.

    Wholeheartedly agree, and as OP appears to be in Qld the advice is similar: sleep baby in their own cot or bassinette in the same room as their parents for the first 6-12 months. Also via Red Nose

      Yes, that's our intention. Which makes it hard in the space that we have, unless we're looking to downsize the bed. Granted, we could have the baby in the other room. Given QLD summers (and all the other reasons mentioned), we'd much rather them in our room with AC that we can set at a comfortable level.

    I can't see any rational explanation as to why having the cot in the parents room reduces SUDI.
    
    I imagine it's for the peace of mind of the parents…
    
    A 'normal' baby monitor is useless, IMO, unless it's one of those hard pads that feels the heart beat of junior. The ones that allow you to hear and/or see little bub, cannot alert you to when they stop breathing or their heart stops. It does however make you sleep incredibly badly as every tiny sound wakes both parents.

    oscargamer and spackbace are suggesting that you would have a better sleep (and other things) experience by sleeping the newborn in a seperate room, if I'm interpreting correctly

Look at stools. Should be able to find a milk stool style within that size requirement
