Smart Phone for Hearing Aids, Audio Streaming for Hearing Aids. ASHA

I have GN Jabra Pro 20 Bluetooth hearing aids I bought from Costco.
ASHA - Audio Streaming Hearing Aids
They support ASHA with Bluetooth LE. ASHA relies on 5.1 BT and at least Android 11.
I'm looking for a new 5 G phone but very few to no phones specify hearing aid compliance, ie. ASHA.
GN Jabra has a very limited list of compliant phones inc Samsung Galaxy 20, 21, 22 and 24 etc.
I don't want a Samsung phone.
Can anyone please help with selection of a mid range phone?
I bought a Moto G84 but it does not stream. My wife now enjoys this.
I'd prefer a Xiaomi or similar.
I have contacted GN Jabra (Resound) and they weren't too helpful.
Cheers

Google Pixel phones support ASHA (Android Streaming Hearing Aids). The Pixel 8a is pretty well priced, or you can get a Pixel 9 via jumping through the various JB/TGG deals and cancelling.

That said, hearing aids sound like crap when listening to music. Really great for phone calls though.

  • I have Moto 84 with Kirkland 9 and 10 aids and these stream exceptionally well via Firestick 4 Max. Unfortunately most of the big brand aids are Apple iphone centric. I believe most brand aids stream from Firestick via Bluetooth.
Phone calls go directly to aids.

    • I thought Firestick is an HDMI device that allows connectivity to a tv? My old Kirkland Signature 10 use a different BT connection method. The newer HA use BT low energy etc., quite different. thanks

      • You are correct it is a HDMI device but it allows most brands of Aides to stream TV. The Kirkland 9 & 01 stream TV directly to aides via Firestick. Kirkland 9 & 10 use similar bluetooth method, newer aides use low energy BT but no hardware supports it at this stage.

  • looks like Jabra has lots of restrictions.
Cochlear does not have strict restrictions, and it works with most recent modem phones.
