Thanks, 64gb might be enough to have multiple chrome tabs open.
how's silicon power for RAM?
I usually go for G.Skill or Corsair but went with Silicon Power this time as it was cheaper and in the QVL list. Working fine on Ryzen with a mild overclock. Haven't tried testing the overclock limit as 6000 is fast enough for me.
thanks for bringing up the QVL list. these don't come up for the motherboard I'm purchasing
found some alternate SP ram https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0CLVBQWDL/ref=sspa_dk_detail_0…
@nicolascage: at the time of posting, it also had the 15% discount option
What are the CL speeds please? I can't find it on the listing. It they're good, then this is great value!
30-38-38-96
Are they good?
You divide the RAM speed (6,000) by the first clock (30) and aim for as close to a score to 200 as possible. The closer, the better.
This is bang on 200 so perfect!
Got the "Zenith Gaming" variant which have the Colour Name as Black in that listing for $325 which I thought was a good price. This deal for $285 ex the gaming heat sink is even better.
No issues with the Zenith Gaming memory. It is running well at 6000 MT/s using EXPO on a Zen 5 MSI X670-P board. This RAM is in MSI's QVL list.
