  Do you drink this neat, or on rocks, or just make cocktails? Is it worth buying a good quality tequila to drink on its own? Sorry, silly questions but I’ve traditionally been more of a whisky / gin drinker. Interested to try tequila.

    Neat at room temp but typically use it for cocktails. If you want to try a really good tequila, get a bottle of Fortaleza. Probably the best tequila I've had.

    It’s pretty mediocre tequila. Decent for mixing, but Espolon exists at the same (or usually lower) price.

    Depending on the whisky you like, a nice small batch anejo or a mezcal (esp if you are into Islays) is probably a better choice.

  At that price it’s a good deal.

  The gold patron is far better though, it’s just way not exy and never seems to be on special below $100
