  • Never had it either. Anyone who knows: Does it taste vastly different to Bombay, Gordons?

Bombay is not bad can’t go wrong with it. I stay away from Gordon. As for Hendricks it is very nice, I find it nicer with cucumber than Lemon.

      • Thank you. I've only tried Bombay and a few Australian ones.

      • Hendricks it's matching only with cucumber! Try it with a cucumber tonic, gonna love it !

    • Not a connoisseur of gins nor do I know how to describe alcohol but I find Hendricks much better than bombay and gordons, it's my go to for a standard gin.

    • It’s superior to Bombay in my opinion. I like it a lot but normally don’t get it due the price.

    • I love Hendricks. But it's a different style. Bombay, Gordons etc are a classic "London Dry" gin. Hendricks is not, which just means it's a bit more floral and maybe not as junipery.

Hendricks is probably my favourite (somewhat) affordable gin. Absolutely delicious in a G&T or a martini.

If youre new to gin try Dasher and Fisher gins. Great tassie gin.

    • Ok :)

This gin is not the most amazing thing I've ever had but I can confidently say that it's well worth the $48.25 price tag.
I've been there a few times as the distillery is about 5min from my house, and if I was able to get it for anything around $50-55 I would grab it without thinking twice.
Heavily agree with @Fergy1987 that Dasher and Fisher is another really good drop.
Edge of the World gin is another one of my top runners for Tas gin if that comes up for anyone.

    • Every time I remember that I want to try this, my 2 local Dan Murphy’s are out of stock

Hendrick's gin and toxic needs cucumber otherwise it doesn't taste great at all. Most gins work with lime and lemon but not Hendrick's, just a heads up.

Hendrick's gin best to mix it with Fever-Tree Tonic Water. It tastes so much better!!

  • I'm thinking of trying gin for the first time as well.
Has anyone tried the Infusionist gins from Aldi? $35 I think they were
