I found this item in my shed, has been there for many decades.
Hate to throw it out without knowing what it is. (cheap b@stard syndrome)
Anyone know what it is?
No guessing you must be sure. :)

Yeah, looks like a "chef slimline oven door hinge" from using reverse image search
I'm sure it's one of these: https://spares.bigwarehouse.com.au/product_info.php?cPath=64…
Now I want to check, but OP's link is 404ing
Have we ozbargained it?
well done! I think so too :)
Now tell me how the hell it got into my shed. :))
While fully committed to sustainability and the circular economy, I'm sorry to say your shed find is worthless and you may proceed to discard it.
If its been there for decades, someone obviously pulled it out of an oven and kept it as a spare. If youve been the only one in the house for the entire time, its time to go see a dr about memory loss.
Can we get a picture with a banana for scale?
Its some sort of jig
Maybe a thingamajig
So that's where it got to!
It's a hinge for an oven door. Here's what it looks like when new.
1933 CHEVROLET 2 DOOR SEDAN REAR 1/4 WINDOW REGULATOR
I'm going with some kind of oven (redundant) door spring.
