Not atl, but close to it. The price on this drops regularly. I lost mine and needed another, so I set a camels alert and bought it. I hope you'll find the price drop useful as well. Keep in mind that these "universal" standard pens are not universal at all. They work with a lot of chromebook devices including the second gen lenovo duets that have been popular here, but check your device to make sure it's the pen for you. If anyone knows of a good compatibility chart for these pens, that would be awesome. Enjoy!

Here is a table showing which USI standard you may need for at least a few devices.
And here is a video explaining that USI 2.0 is backwards compatible (Thanks @mostlygordon)

Edit: It's dropped to 52.27 51.70

How long do the batteries last? Good price, but tempted to wait for a deal on a rechargeable model.

Which model were you looking at? This is rated for 730 hours. I can't say for certain because mine was still going after a year of intermittent use… And then I lost it Hehe

This one looks to drop to $75 on sale. Picked up a Pixel Tablet on the weekend, so on the look out…

        • Nice. It looks very cool. I may give it a go. I haven't used the other pens, so I can't compare them, but I've been very happy with the Lenovo pen on my Duet 5 Chromebook. I always love the idea of USB C charging on everything though

          • @Soapdroid: Duet 5 Chromebook is USI 1 I think, not sure about compatibility.

@mostlygordon: I'm not positive about this. I know my friend's Duet 3 is USI 2, the USI 1 pens won't work, and I can conform that the USI 2.0 works on my Duet 5 as well. I thought they were the same standard, but searching online hasn't been very helpful. I really wish there was a simple chart somewhere to explain these things!

@Soapdroid: Just found a video on it. The 2.0 pens are backward compatible, so no drama.

                • @mostlygordon: I found it here. Duet 5 is USI 1, Duet 3 is USI 2. So wild

@Soapdroid: I have both and my 5 pen doesn't work on the 3. Haven't bothered getting a 2.0 pen yet, but might now I have the Pixel.

  • Will this work on a surface 8 Pro, looking for a cheap pen for document signature etc

    • I *think the answer is no, but this pen stuff is just so confusing I can't say for certain

      • thanks
