Anybody that thinks Watches are just functional devices that tell what time of day it is, or who think that anything more that a $20 Digital Casio is a waste of money, please stop reading and leave now, this deal isn't for you!
Christopher Ward is a UK company selling Swiss made watches. I have one of their Trident C60 Professional Diver's watches and it is very high quality. CW sell both Quartz and Auto models of their watches in various styles. CW sells only from its website in the UK, they dont sell in jeweller's shops (at least not as far as I know). Here is a video review of the watch I own to give an idea http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGqel1WNbqY
They have a 15% off sale and I think the quality of their watches (mine at least) is extremely good, almost as good as my Omega. They ship to Australia and since Aussie buyers are outside the EU, they normally take off the 19% VAT at checkout on their webpage. (as well as the 15% off for the code above). They normally get good reviews on the various watch forums like Watchuseek.
And before you ask, yes I personally would rate quality as good as the regular TAG Heuer watches that I have seen with stock movements (manufacture' and high end models aside) but at a much lower cost (you don't get a poster of Lewis Hamilton wearing one though). I think these are a very good 'Bang for your Buck' Swiss watch.
I'll be agonising over this one all weekend, impulse buy yet another watch or not!
