1) Open 2 tabs of the KFC site.
2) On tab #1, add any feast to the cart and do not press anything when Add-ons menu appears.
3) Switch to tab #2 and navigate to cart and remove the feast
4) Switch to tab #1 and click Add to Order on the add-on you want.
The website order page allows the user to "order again", so you don't need to go through this rigmarole again.
I've never gotten the "order again" to work with this hack with the app version. Always says the location doesn't have it available.

As mentioned you can ask at the counter for hot and spicy
It is up to the individual store if they will swap it out if that is the case.
So even if it is available you might not be able to get it anyway.

This can be either. The original version of this was only desktop only where you had to go into developers mode and replay a command(which is only available on a desktop).
This method is much easier and can be done on your mobile

Still working as of 06 October. For iPhone users, you may need to use a browser other than Safari. On iOS 18.1 beta at least, the second tab does not reflect anything done in the 1st tab. Using Microsoft Edge this works fine. I actually contemplated dragging my laptop down to KFC to use this.

Not bad. Decided to make an order and because I wanted to try the spicy fried chicken and they tasted like Wicked Wings very delicious.
A Shame I was missing 4 of them from my order so I've sent a message to KFC.
