AFTERSHOCKs "RAPID PRO" - Help Me Customise for Improvements

Hi Everyone,

I'm in the market for a new system.

i haven't followed the PC world for quiet some time so not as up to date with whats good or better so just wanting to get some input from the gurus as to what they think will be best suited for me as the package can be customised with the listed options.

My last system still kicking well and is 12yrs old…..yes it TRUE (i do fully pull it apart and reassemble everything with fresh paste & deep clean every year or 2). It was a i5 2500K + GTX based system.

Runs all things still fine, however i just want to treat myself with something new and this one will go to my kids for school work.

I will be ordering the system from AFTERSHOCK PC.
I've narrowed it down to the "ANNIVERSARY RAPID PRO" based on my budget (at the $2k mark). If another package is better please advise.
I am flexible with what i spend but obviously don't want to stray TOO far from the $2k mark. Seeing this will probably see my through the next decade. I don't mind paying if it prevents me from "i wish i had gone for that option" situation down the track.

I'm not a heavy gamer by any means (maybe couple times a year if a title that attracts my eyes comes around - so graphics are a nice to have but i can make do with say 1080P gaming), i want a system that's more going to provide me with longevity, future proofing, fast file transfers between portable HDD's, application loading, etc.
Think of me as an intense office worker maybe?

Anyways the attached images show the components i can choose from, lines marked as BASE is what the package comes as pre-selected, but are there any improvements you guys would suggest from whats available vs whats been selected.
