      when did we ask?

  • Thought it was a steelbook but looks to be regular cover with exclusive print

I’ve never been a person that complains about ratings/classifications logos (people that would buy U.S. releases over Australian releases for this reason have contributed to the current poor state that Australian Blu-ray/4K Blu-ray/physical media market is in, stupidly thinking they were sticking it to Australian distributors and that they would win, when the opposite is now true, they as customers lost), however I have to admit that those round pink 15 ratings logos on UK releases are quite hideous.

  • Very good movie and worth it if you are into collecting blurays etc. I'll stick to streaming though. The convenience of having a place clutter free makes it harder to go back to physical mediums. I just wish that there is an option for Atmos and 4k Blu-ray equivalence digitally. I'm sure we will get there one day.

The problems with streaming are that the movie is only available to stream on certain services and can be taken away at any time.

I still purchase digitally through Google play but not all content is 4k/Atmos which kinda sucks
But agree with you that with streaming service. You are at their beck and call if they add it or not

      • Everything anyone says has the potential to be offensive to you..
That's my opinion for my house.. if you don't like it just don't agree to it..
Do you want me to also tell you what you told me in the coffee thread. That I didn't ask for your opinion ? That I don't want to add physical media to my room as it makes my house too cluttered, and that is as if people who love media are such snobs that they don't accept someone doesn't see it the same way?
Or is that rule only one sided.
Just go and enjoy your stack of physical media collection. I even said this is a good deal for people who like to collect blurays. It just wasn't for me as I stopped collecting physical media as I am reducing what I deemed as clutter in my place. What you define as clutter will be different and so be it.

A coffee snob calling physical media enthusiasts snobs, that’s hilarious. But I’m not talking about your house, I don’t care about your home, and the truth is nobody else does except for you. “You didn’t ask for my opinion”? That’s good, because I haven’t given my opinion regarding your home, the aesthetics of it, and your most cherished hobbies that you spend more money on than the average person that you have on display in your home, and I wouldn’t if even if I knew what it looked like because I had seen photos. If that’s what you meant by clutter then perhaps you should have also included in the sentence the words “for my house only” when using the word clutter, as then there is no reason for any person to misinterpret what you meant 🤷‍♂️

          • @Cevolution: Dude….

          • @Cevolution: I honestly think you have comprehension issues if you didn't interpret my original comment as a personal one "The convenience of having a place clutter free makes it harder to go back to physical mediums"
Clearly that's my thoughts on my place it can't be interpreted any other way. But if it helps to make your life (and honestly, probably only your life) easier just imagine the words "in my house" at the end of the sentence.
You take everything personally. You need to dial it a few steps back as honestly it's coming off as frustrating. You make an argument about things that don't need arguing about.
Look at the commenter above by @brotherfranciz
He responded in a normal conversational way unlike yourself.

@maverickjohn: Maybe, maybe not. I’ll revisit it tomorrow, I have had half a bottle of Wild Turkey Rare Breed tonight (great quality high ABV bourbon whiskey that was $90 for a 700ml bottle at Dan’s earlier this week), and I guarantee I can still argue and make a point better than most people even under the influence.

              • @Cevolution: Maybe just try and stop arguing.. be civil and talk rather than berate or criticise. When people reach out to offer advice from their good will, don't dismiss them it's actually rude. And when someone makes a comment don't try and take it personally the comments aren't targetted at you.
I'm sure you have many good ideas and topics it just starts with being respectful.
Anyway enjoy the rest of your night. Hopefully when our next encounter happens it will be a more civil discussion.
                Good night

@maverickjohn: Maybe you should take your own advice. I’m not arguing, being rude or uncivil (from my perspective you are), you’re just not listening to me. Perhaps if you took a step back and reread what I have written, and let it swirl around in your brain for a few minutes before responding, you wouldn’t be coming at me from a defensive angle.

                  • @Cevolution: I think you are probably the only one who sees it like that.
Especially when most of your comments people don't agree with. I think it speaks for itself.

Anyway that's where I'm going to draw the line and stop.
I can only hope that you reflect on your actions.

@maverickjohn: Another person that seems to put value in the likes and dislike of comments on a bargains forum and the internet in general like it actually mean something in the real world, when it’s really meaningless and insignificant. Many people that spend a lot of time posting and commenting on the internet/social media/FB/Instagram/Youtube etc aren’t very intelligent (if they were they wouldn’t waste their time doing it and would use the time more productivity to actually make money), yet you use this as form of winning because apparently more people agree with you 🙄🙈. Right-o.

  • Thanks OP.

I only just picked up John Wick 1-3 off FB marketplace last week. Now number 4 completes the set.

I also purchased Whiplash to get me up to free postage.

    Cheers
