Betoota Advocate Presents, MIA?

Despite justwatch saying it's available on Paramount+, I can't find it!
They still advertise it on the front page of https://www.betootaadvocate.com/ and even wrote a recent article referencing it:

We actually went there for a bit of a debrief after filming part of our Hillsong documentary, which is available on Paramount Plus, Channel 10, or Qantas in-flight entertainment.

So why have they pulled it? It seems it's been missing for at least a few months. It's a great show and it's unfortunate we can't watch it without resorting to the high seas/Qantas in-flight entertainment.

    Looks like Apple TV is an option?

    • Are you able to verify that? As I don't have an Apple login.

      • It says you need Paramount+ to watch it on the Apple TV app.

        • Well I definitely have Paramount+ and unable to find it on their platform.

            @shkippy: They probably removed it.

            @shkippy: I googled it out of curiosity from reading your post and also found the link via Apple TV.

            The only thing is I can only find the link to the Betoota show on the Paramount Plus app via the Apple TV app. Then the link takes you directly into the first episode. Super weird. And I’m unable to copy the link to the show on Paramount Plus from Apple TV.
            Also, after watching the first episode for a minute or so, I went out and back into the Paramount Plus homepage and it doesn’t show up in my ‘Keep Watching’ list.
            Curious and curiouser…
            Anyway it’s there, you’ll just need to get your hands on an Apple TV login 🫠
            It might be worth commenting on a Betoota Instagram post and seeing if they respond.

              @del preston: BTW the Apple TV login doesn’t need to have an active subscription, it’s literally just for the link to the mysterious Paramount Plus secret Betoota series…👻

                @del preston: Thanks!
                I can confirm after combining with a friend's apple login in conjunction with Paramount+ it is available to stream. The reason why it's been pulled is still unknown. However why it's still available on paramount through Apple only, I can only think/offer one reason is advertising /streaming rights.

                Please correct me if you think I'm wrong, but if Apple were to advertise that this were on their streaming platform albeit through a third party (Paramount) and then that third party were to pull that content, (for whatever reason) Apple would have the right to sue? Well I guess that really depends on the contract, and I don't think there's any chance of seeing that. Either way, could that be the reason you can only view it through Apple?

                It still doesn't answer why it was pulled in the first place and why the Betoota website still advertises it (I have sent them a couple of emails in June with no reply). So I think I'm still left more curious the further I go down this rabbit hole.

                  @shkippy: I’m glad you managed to access it! ☺️
                  Well technically it’s only advertised on Apple TV as being available to watch on Paramount Plus, without any financial affiliation with Apple. I don’t have a current Apple TV sub, just the app because I have an iPhone. So yeah, Apple didn’t make money from me watching it on Paramount Plus, as the link took me to the completely separate P+ app, a sub I buy through P+, not Apple. It’s the most bizarre thing. So I don’t know about Apple being able to sue, as like I said, they’re literally just advertising it as available on Paramount Plus with the link and no financial gain, as far as I can tell. It’s baffling. Unless it’s just a massive glitch 🤷
                  I did watch the first episode, though, so thanks for the rec! 👍😁

  • We now live in an age of covert censorship. It was probably labelled as “misinformation” because it showcased some sort of “controversial” idea or fact.

    Sadly the days of a simple warning or disclaimer are gone, it’s far safer to just pull the article/video.

  • Not sure why but I clicked the paramount link on just watch and it took me straight to the first episode.. I can watch it. No idea I'm in Sydney.

    Oh I'm using an Android mobile so I'm using the Paramount+ app not a browser.

    Have not tried on desktop.
