Yoku’s island is fun. Pinball sidescrolling platformer. Worth $5 for sure

  • I bought worm game before but could not play it because it requires a paid membership to Nintendo Switch Online.

You might be referring to Worms Rumble.

  • Thanks, grabbed Yoku's Island Express

  • Yoku is an amazing game!

Yooka-Laylee is a great buy for $4.50! Good selection of sale titles here.

Yooka 2 was good, but know you may never finish the last level (even with the tweaks they made). I almost never give up, but I gave up on this one.

Yoku I didn't like much despite what others say. I found it confusing to know where to go and due to the pinball mechanism even when you want to go somewhere it wasn't easy to identify the correct path to actually go there. This made it slow and frustrating.

  • So there are 2 Yooka_laylee games. Never played them, are they anything like the old Rareware games like Banj kaz?

    • +1

Yep. I really enjoyed the first one, reminded me of Banjo and DK platforming which I really loved and missed. The second one is mostly a side scroller, but I never played it.

    • +1

The second is not, but it's enjoyable. I liked the overworld the most, shame it wasn't the core of the game and fleshed out more
