I wonder if the mod team has stats on what percentage of visitors on OZB are international.

  • How about Fallout Football - Vaulties vs Ghouls?

    • No-shirts vs Smoothskins

How is fallout 3 not considered a classic now?

3D vs 2D, Bethesda vs Black Isle?

Playing “Atom RPG” lately and its the proper sequel to Fallout 2 we always wanted. Turn based combat, punishingly difficult until you skill up, then with a free nexus mod to control all party members during combat, it bangs just like Fallout 1 & 2. They even copied the in game dialogue and battle fonts.

Nothing wrong with Fallout 3 - it added a lot of great features. But it did a lot of hand holding and lost the charm and difficulty of the originals.

This deal is good, can finally have a “modern” version of the classic Fallouts in my collection

Atom RPG looks cool, pity I missed the sale

Ah .. yes if you get a chance to get Atom its really a love letter to 1 and 2. The new schoolers may not quite vibe with it, but to each their own. For me I’ve probably put about 25 hours in, taking my slow time to do side quests, looking around the wastes for companions (I’ve accumulated 4 simultaneous companions - remember that? Lol as opposed to Bethesda’s 1 companion) and upskilling, and still only around mid game.

The quality of these free games is better than any monthly PSN Plus free games Sony gave in recent years.

Old games are better than the new half-finished games we are getting…

Ah, Fallout 1 my beloved. Greatest of crpgs.

  • Weird, I can't see Fallout 2 in my library. When I search for the game in store it shows as "In Library" but I can't see it.
