Yep notes with a collaborative note with my partner.
      Works a treat.
Doesn't stop me only starting packing the night before though.

Trello works well for me. Easy as to make and copy standard checklists for camping, domestic, international etc. Super easy to set up and maintain. Cross platform, shareable, free.

    • iPhone Notes I take it you mean.
      OR Hand written notes?

I have the things app, I know I should hand in my OzBargain membership for paying for the app, but love the convenience.

    • What app is that?

      • +1

It’s called Things 3. No clue how much it costs because I already have it. I got it on sale some time ago but it’s very user friendly, can use it for to do lists, time related lists, projects, all sorts of stuff.

There would be a free equivalent but might not be as user friendly. It’s worth it if you use it, like anything.

        • yeah its $14.99 , i'll wait for it to be free lol

          • +1

@prankster: It's a nice app (as in user friendly) but functionally, you can get similar apps for free or much cheaper, just being honest.

  • Or use just reminder or todo app

  • Notepad on Windows

  • To do from MS?

  • +7

Meh. Just downloaded it but seems pretty ordinary. Doesn't have any packing templates… Just allows you to make your own. Easier to use notes or reminders on IOS.

  • +3

Remember to upgrade to pro for free once you download the app or you will be swamped with adds.

  • +3

I used the spray can in MS Paint

  • No wonder it’s free, the app has terrible UI. I’ll stick with notes.

  • Just a heads up you need to go through a few prompts then click go pro (it’s free for now) and “purchase” that - at least on iOS.

    • Agree, and then its up to you/us to populate the list with our items.

They think prepared lists by others is dumb, and that we should start from scratch, no prompts etc.

So in effect its just a cute notepaper app, which looking at the privavcy notice might be more of interest to them than us.

I'll am yet to be persuaded that its worth bothering with or just stick to my excel spreadsheets. And they dont have many dogs to choose from. The family Kelpie isnt impressed….

      • yeah i've got the app, looks ok but yeah maybe just easier to stick with excel or google sheets

This is good, but what I really need is an app which helps me remember to breath.

    • Especially when travelling
      😊

  • Cheers OP!

  • Cheers but I too use another app. I use TickTick for notes, lists, reminders and can share links with anyone.

  • I use Packaroo. Much better than this. Not free tho

  • Paper and pen! Good old school ways never fail!
