    I have a PC in a hot climate and never really know if I should get buy with heatsink so just do it anyway. Is this waste ?

      Nah i'd get a heatsink, don't need to pay more got the one that comes with one, can add a cheap aftermarket one for a few bucks. Had a mate whose PC was crashing recently, turns out his SSD was overheating.
