I'm having trouble finding reviews of tools similar to this.
Anyone have any thoughts/ expertise want to weigh in on whether it's worth it?

I agree. I've got a mix of Bosch and Ozito.
Best time to buy ozito gear, when Aldi does a sale.
That said, Ozito don't have a kit like this at all. Aldi is selling a body with various end attachments, not 6 different skins that share batteries. They might drop this to $200 - https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-6-piece-kit-px6pak…. The Aldi one will be interesting to see if it actually works well using the same body on all those devices, it would be good for something that doesn't take up much space.
If they do a matching deal with brushless Ozito skins there will be old people camped out across bunnings carparks nationwide.
yeah i reckon we'll see a reduction on that kit. If purely just to get it down to the impulse buy for entry level DIY'ers then keep them coming back for more.
I totally missed the aldi kit being brushless too
The other day, I was on a work site and I forgot my torch kit and heat gun set that I usually bring - like I got around it but holy moly it was painful.
So I thought I'd just get an ozito kit and leave it in a hard case and in my ute- <$220 for a dual battery kit with 2 x 4ah batteries, the 18v heat gun kit, and the mini 2000 lumen worklight… and they werent a total POS? Damn. I've been wrong about ozito the whole time - actually keen to see what else they bring into the range.
How many of the components if the pack would you really need, and use - that's the key issue.
The Aldi kit looks like one drive with six attachments? Does Ozito make anything they could match it with?
Can't speak to the aldi version, but I've got a comparable Black & Decker set.
It's super handy to be able to carry a few power tools in a single bag - but not sure about this Aldi version mixing it with gardening tools. Instead of gardening tools, my B&D has a multi-tool head, air compressor head, jigsaw head - way more useful than a mini chainsaw and a couple of hedge trimmers
I've got a pretty large garden, actually considering this because I don't have the trimmers or a chainsaw (or a sander).
I'm in the ozito system for my other tools, but I don't know if they'll be coming down to match on their trimmers and chainsaw.
I didn't realise black and decker, had something. I'm going to see if I can choose my own kit and come out ahead.
Chainsaw looks ok for pruning. From the photos the trimmers look garbage for a large garden - they look quite small too. It also looks like an ergonomic nightmare to use the trimmers. If you have to plug the drill motor base you then just have a drill handle at 90 degrees to the trimmer which would limit manoeuvrability. The way it would make that circular saw so top heavy is hilarious.
That is neat, good price for what you get, even though there is one motor, its brushless. Would be about $250 for the non-brushless version with seperate tools.
I'd try it, Aldi have good warranty if anything goes wrong.
Buy the backpack first
then ask Austriabargain how to pack it into it and leave store without paying?
The main issue with Aldi is that if something goes wrong then you cant just replace the tool, because they dont have any stock for another year. So you will end up with either a missing tool or a mix of Aldi tools and the Ozito ones you buy because you needed it before waiting a year.
If you are just buying for the trimmer or chainsaw, then the Aldi ones are pretty short/not powerful. Fine for light work I guess.
I’ll be surprised if Bunnings don’t do a promo with the ozito kit. Got the ozito work light and heat gun as an experiment to see if I would be disappointed compared to my usual Ryobi or Makita kits but actually…. It’s GREAT value imo.
