  Why are these bags so popular? They cost a fortune and look like they're for children, yet I see people with them everywhere. Are they super functional or something?

    Some of them look cool (I have a really nice Crumpler Gofer Royale in brown for my camera), but I will admit some look really crummy…
    The REAL pull though is they have lifetime international* warranty, and will repair or replace depending on how bad it is. They are INCREDIBLY well made and very rarely need to get repaired anyway.

    *AFAIK items purchased in USA are still valid for AUS repair/replacement… but not sure about how far this extends to other countries.

    When Crumpler first came out, they were different to anything else on the market. Both in its designs and choice of colours. They aren't so unique in this department now as with popularity comes imitation. But one of the things competitors haven't been able to copy is quality. Their bags are extremely well made. I've used the same crumpler bag everyday for the last six years and besides being a bit dirty, it's still in great nick. I've even carried 25kg+ numerous times and not a single stitch has come undone even though it's rated for 15kg. So yeah, I'm a fan.

    I'm keen to work this out as well. As far as I can tell, no discount online. But I wish there was - I'd like to order….. (and no local stores)
