    I've just gotten one, and it's average but no worse than that for me.

    My G54 was noticably better in that department, but that was a strength for the G54. The 8a is getting me through a day comfortably enough, but requires a recharge daily. The G54 was a charge every day to day and a half.

    I'm not a power user however.

  I found a slightly better deal for Australian stock.

  If you're an amaysim customer then you can buy the 128GB model outright for $649 delivered. Or if not already a customer then $649 + $30 starter sim = $679 delivered. 256GB model is $749 delivered ($779 with the $30 starter SIM for new customer). You likely don't even have to activate the starter SIM pack but just have to purchase it with the phone order. Both Obsidian and Bay colours. The phone is factory unlocked. It's on sale until 31 August. I think that's a slightly better deal cheaper than JB Hi-Fi.
