Capped Warranty Car Issue routine inspection

Hi all
Just have a Suzuki and still under 5 yes warranty but the dealer guys who I take say that I'm 2months/few 1000 Kms over/ late to book by routine inspection. The issue is they now say as a result they can't guarantee capped. service because it is over.

Is there anything I can do about this..I was thinking of escalating to the manager. I prefer to go to the dealer one given capped service etc

    These are all completely different things. It appears you're talking about capped service.

      It does say….

      10.4 When the applicable service claim period for a specific Standard Scheduled Service expires, or you have claimed the Standard Scheduled Service for that service claim period, you will no longer be able to claim the capped price for that particular Standard Scheduled Service listed in the relevant Australian Supplement of the Owner's Manual. The next capped price Standard Scheduled Service will then be available in the applicable service claim period for that service (although you may have additional costs as a result of missing a Standard Scheduled Service).

      It does say

      10.6 Missing a Standard Scheduled Service, prolonged time between Standard Scheduled Services and/or not adhering to the applicable service claim periods, means you will relinquish the total number of Standard Scheduled Services available under the Program and you may have to pay additional costs when you next undertake a Standard Scheduled Service.

    Take it somewhere else.

    • agree, I have a car that has left the capped price servicing period. They said, "oh don't worry, we'll continue to honor it".

    More details, how sold is it?

  • Check the price of a log book service at an independent mechanic. They might be cheaper than capped.
