  How's the auto focus? Better than the Sony 50mm?

  Seems like a nice focal length for travel photos?

    Complaints I found were mostly the noise of the auto focus and distortion an issue. I probably wouldn’t pay usual price of around 450 for this tamron which its now back to, but when at $269 can’t really go wrong.

    Bugger. Had been $299 for maybe a week since I saw it, then dropped to $269 yesterday some time. Their “birthday sale” seems to be still on, maybe they just pulled it idk :(
