    Yuck 1080p on a 32"

      "unmatched clarity" lol

Unmatched as in nothing else even comes close to being as bad as Kogan. Clever marketing.

"You can really see the pixels!"

      • you can see the pixels with clarity!

  • good monitor for grandma

  • I'm not really sure who this is for? The text clarity at this resolution on a 32" screen will be terrible, especially if you use any scaling. I imagine for productivity this would lead to a lot of eye strain. Then in terms of gaming, visually it will look poor and it caps at 75hz so isn't even good for competitive gaming.

I'd take this real estate for $169. We've got several of these, as well as other unbranded monitors which were sub-$150 in our distribution centre. They're okay for basic word processing, accounting and warehousing applications, and we needed a large size due to a multi-window layout of some of our warehousing apps, so they fit the bill perfectly. Not sure that I've noticed any excessive eye-strain, but to be fair it's not a desk job.

Barring Kogan's erratic support, I think this is more than a fair deal!

    • Nintendo Switch? Although even then not all games can reach this monitors resolution of 1080p, at least you get native output though.

    • I guess useful in an application where you view it from a long distance, such as menu and order collection/prep at restaurant, or job/picking scheduling in manufacturing and distribution.

Doesnt belong on a desk though.

  • Wouldn't make any one use this. Have had 1080p 27" monitors that you can very noticeably see pixels on, can't image how bad it would be.

  • Still a decent price even if the resolution sucks. I remember paying over 1k for a Dell 32" that was 1440p

    • Its the going rate for a budget 32" FHD TV, without the standalone smart TV features.
      So not really too special.
Niche use cases like a wall mounted bedrom gaming screen, or commercial applications.

  • Would this be okay to watch a Chromecast on?

    • Better than TV 😁

    Just "no".

That res at that size is going to look terrible.
