How to Know The Historical Cashback @ Cashrewards

https://www.cashrewards.com.au/store/energyaustralia

When I signed up for Energy Australia's electricity, I remember the Cashrewards website listed a cashback offer around $17x at the end of July, but now it shows $105 and this is what they honor.

Cashrewards has asked me to provide proof, such as a screenshot.

I checked the Wayback Machine at https://web.archive.org/, but I couldn't find the information there. Do you have any suggestions for another way to obtain this proof?

Screen record every transaction from start to finish (including the OZB post) and you'll have all the screenshots you'll ever need. They can't argue against it when you've got evidence to show you clicked through from the Cashrewards website (this goes for SB and TCB also) and the cashback amounts are clearly listed on screen.

I do this with all transactions and I've used about half of the recordings to make a cashback claim (generally Shopback unfortunately), so they've definitely come in handy for my claims.

Shopback tried to stuff me around on a $46 cashback on the new M4 iPad Pro but they had no legs to stand on when I sent them the screenshots. They stuffed up on their end and forgot to add the M4 iPad Pro's to the exclusion list so I took advantage of their mistake :-)

  • very helpful guys.
