  • THE wall.

    Good price.

  • Thanks OP. Grabbed one.

Thanks OP. Just in time for Father’s Day.

  • I can't add it to cart!

  • +1

    bugger. back to normal price

  • +1

    Coming up as $73

  • Glad I got it, it was only at 10% of the lightning deal! Surely someone just bought most of them to sell that fast.

I like Meddle, DSOTM, Wish you were here and Animals. Not so keen on the rest.

    • -1

agree - love floyd but the wall is over rated and bloated, reflecting the height or roger waters egomania

      • -1

yep couple of good songs (comfortably numb, etc), but wish you were here one of the best.. been giving momentary lapse of reason some recent love. delicate sound of thunder is a good example of the hits.

        • DSOT on vinyl is awesome - in fact it may actually be worth $42.65

          (it cost me <$10 ;) )

    • +1

Can't believe you didn't include Ummagumna in that list with the ol' classic "Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict".

      • +1

How high were the lads when they wrote that one? Haha.

We’ve been tricked into thinking 43 dollars is a good deal for vinyl. Should be standard price

    • +2

Completely agree. I say this as a Vinyl head, it's really sad how we've just accepted it.

I personally never pay more than $35 for a vinyl, just can't.

      • Yeah I'm the same, shared the deal but wouldn't pay for it. My prices gotta have a 2 at the start.

      • I agree, it seems like an expensive hobby. Where do you get them for <$35? Amazon?

Dissapointed I missed this deal. My first CD back in the late 90s was The Wall, and it's got damage, so it doesn't play properly any more. I think it would sound real nice on vinyl.

        • +2

i usually wait for prime day or boxing day, never ever pay these ridiculous prices.

    • +1

agreed - i built my collection when amazon started in Au for less than $10 a pop - including 2LPs !

  • -2

    Who?

    • They have the internet on computers now.

    • +4

going down this path, the day will come when you are renting the very shirt that covers your back

      • +1

        Lol that’s gold

      • +1

And it'll be deemed obsolete by some profit driven corporate powers and ask you to pay more to upgrade your shirt. Or listen to ads to keep renting it. Or it'll just stop working as a thermal insulation and you'll need to rent a different one.

You can tell I don't do streaming TV/music.

    • I use Spotify every day but sometimes I like to chill and put on CDs and records like old times. You can enjoy both. :)

    • +1

The high seas are the best value and better quality, easier to use than Sh*ttify too.

      • +1

how is it easier to use than Spotify? with Spotify one can listen to a song or album within seconds

  • +1

Mixes well with Salt-N-Pepa’s The brick track vs Gitty Up.

Give it all that you got
    Baby don’t stop
    Keep it comin’ strong
Make it leave those kids alone!

    @rosebank

  • Hello….

    is there anybody out there?

Run… because that was a great price! does anyone buy Vinyls but dont own a player… or am i the only one that does this?

    • I expect a lot of modern releases and reissues with with ltd edition colourways etc are displayed far more than played.

  • Good price for that. Great album. But agree with others why is $43 for a vinyl a deal, it's sad :(

  • Up to $73.59 now.

  • Very happy with this press. Pink Floyd offer quality for money on their vinyl releases
