Ordered an 85" C855 from Appliances Online in the recent OzBargain EOFY offer.
Stock was due three weeks ago to be delivered, they called and asked to cancel order as stock still 6 to 8 weeks out or change to another TV, lesser model same price.
Curious to see if others got their backorders for this offer or have experience with appliances online as most other stores have stock now.
Not in a rush for the TV but feels like they want us to cancel order vs proceed, so want to check other's experiences.
I ordered and paid in full for a fridge 12/05/2022 with an expected delivery 30/06/2022. This was during the global supply line issues.
On the 10/06/2022 that was amended to 15/07/2022. They did offer switching to an alternate fridge but with no discount for the inconvenience.
The delivery date was amended to the 15/08/2022 but I was going away for 2 months so they agreed to hold it in their warehouse.
Fridge delivered 12/10/2022. The freezer door had been scratched and badly touched up (different shade of white & they must have had the shakes). I complained and they offered me a replacement fridge (with a few months wait) or $150 compensation. I took the money.
I'd buy from them again. They communicated well, were polite and apologetic.
