Very well received thermo flask, price is finally coming down to pre-covid level.

Direct copy from last deal by timt5m

The pricey, but (in my opinion) worth it flask which you can fill with boiling water the night before and burn your tongue the next morning!

This is "buy it for life" type stuff.

  • Yeah really good price and keeps the heat in amazingly

  • How much in japan?going soon so…

In my experience, thermos style flasks are just as expensive in Japan and sales in store are rare

      • Ok just curious, i tried to search google amazon jp but it keep directing me to Australian site annoyingly

        • No redirection when trying to access Amazon JP for me.

It seems that Zojirushi SM-SDs are discontinued in Japan, SM-SFs are available from Yodobashi for ¥2,700 if you can find them in stock.

    • Definitely cheaper in Japan, and the range is amazing. Also cheap replacement parts.

Bought this bottle 7-8 years ago and still like new, only changed the rubber parts because they became moldy at some point.
Its great at keeping things cold/hot, only complain is that the hole to drink is a bit too small.
    Definitely recommend it.

Where did you get the rubber from?

      • I also want to know, where do you buy the rubber from?

      • +1

At the time I contacted them through their contact page and they sent me the email of someone. Now they have an Australian website so I would contact them through that.

  • Can we put coofee in this? Or better not as it will be smelly afterwards?

    • You can, the head can be clean easy.

    • +1

They have versions with nonstick coating inside that's supposed retain smells less than non coated versions. But then there are some concerns about how much of that coating will come off and go into your body.

This. There's 360ml versions that are perfect for a large coffee. The one I have doesn't use a drinking spout at all and you full unscrew the lid to drink (safer imo as less likely to burn yourself)

My whole family and extended families uses this because I've been gifting them. They're amazing, easy to clean and no issues with the cover seal till today.

Oh man, I just bought the 480ml Zojirushi from the last deal and now this pops up for less than a dollar more with 120mls of extra capacity. My only complaint is 480ml isn't QUITE enough, but I really don't want to spend another $37 🤔 What do I do 😭

    • +2

Buy more and gift that smaller to family member so they know the quality of this japan brand

  • Zojirushi is also made in Thailand…. thought it was only Thermos

    • I was in Japan this last June and the ones in Japan are also made in Thailand. The only flask that's made in Japan was Tiger.

  • Looks like expired, showing $56.80 to me.

  • (profanity) sake, ordered this on Prime day, and they lost the parcel, and couldn’t re-send… only offered a refund. Now I’ve missed it at that price again!

    • If it's still in stock, they should be able to refund the difference. Speak to them first to confirm - but they ask you to purchase the item at whatever the current price is, and then refund you the difference when it arrives.

I had the same thing happen with a Thermos Funtainer that arrived completely mangled (unusable!). It was no longer in stock (sold out from the clearance pricing), so I could only get a refund. Weeks later it came back in stock, and I was able to get it for the clearance price that i had originally paid.

  • I have two of these and am very impressed with their heat retention ability. I'm looking for a larger one (1.5L or above). Does anyone know of other good brands with similar performance?

    Country address

    Amazon is really losing it

  • I just saw this at AEON in Otaru, Hokkaido yesterday at 2500 yen and I thought it was expensive. Wow.. so it was definitely a bargain!

I have been on an endless quest for the best travel mug for about 30 years. My second last preferred model was a Contigo which is actually leak proof and retains heat really well. My last purchase was a Zojirushi 480ml purchased from the Prime Day sale. It is completely leak proof, easy to clean, very high quality construction and materials and the heat retention is simply AMAZING. Coffee stays hot at least 4 hours! My quest has ended (at least until something better comes along)
