JB HiFi chat matched West Coast Hifi for $595 picked for me yesterday, glad I waited.

Mixed reviews, kind of self-selecting audience for these. If you've got other Sonos gear these will tie in well. App woes notwithstanding.
I was going to hold out for AirPods Max 2, but they're not likely to be $500 better than these so I caved.

  Would be interested to hear how these go up against APM. I picked up some brand new APM on FB marketplace (legit, not fakes - so many fakes out there) and only paid $400 which is why I did it. Quality seems great especially NC.
  Only downside is they're lightning but the cost outweighed the negative for me there.

  Just be careful buying Sonos… They have screwed their app and many people can't use their Sonos products currently.

  I wonder if this deal is trying to shift stock before Sonos becomes a dirty word to everyone, not just the audiophile community.

    I’ve not had many issues since the new app, sound like one of the lucky ones..
    there is talk that they’re going to roll back to the old app until it’s all sorted.

  These are not worth it even at the discounted price.
  The clamp force is more than you’d expect, and the ear cups aren’t very deep so for me my left ear being slightly different to my right irritated me a lot and felt I was adjusting often.
  The ANC is ok but doesn't handle sudden, louder sounds and will have an audible pop as a result.
  I also experienced crackling, popping, and distortion anomalies at medium-high to high volumes esp with an adjusted EQ. Google “Sonos Ace crackling” - it’s common for these.

  I returned mine and exchanged for Bose QC Ultra’s with a Myer price match - currently going for ~550$.
  Better ANC, better audio, better app and way way way more comfortable.

    I was almost going to return mine due to the ANC issues but they pushed out an update this week which has made it a lot better. Barely usable when catching the bus to work and back but now they filter out the rattling way better. Will be hanging onto them now as I’m very happy with them otherwise.
