If anyone's after an invite just add me to Steam (71017410). You won't receive the invite straight away, it takes a few hours and then you'll get an email/notification for access.

Yeah internode and iinet servers were all I ever went on, but then I got banned on internode for whatever reason (as did everyone else apparently) which spawned the classic group: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/103582791429942490
tf2 was a good time
it was a simpler game for a simpler time.
Lol from 2008?
My FPS fond memories are from Tribes: Vengeance in about 2001/02 after getting it free on a cd on the front of a magazine
Next fond memory is COD: MW2 and dominating in a lan with friends because I played it online before then and had all the unlocks giving me the best weapons and loadouts lol
Yea maybe my timeline it’s a little stuff but we only had dialup at my parents place around maybe 2007. Dark times.
I did used to go to lan cafes in the cs1.6 and OG Dota years

I like this viral marketing by Valve. I got an invite from and friend and sent it to 6 of mine.
Why market your game when you can spread keys for a "secret" game you're not meant to discuss outside of official forums.
Been looking for this, I've sent you a request.
Also sent you a request (Kangaroo Profile Pic). Would love an invite.
Or if someone else can send me one to Friend Code 23698868

sure am mate, send us an invite. my friend code is: 71017410
I hope this goes somewhat to reigniting that flame for FPS I haven’t had since early years TF2 - like 2008 onwards till maybe around 2013? Everything was new and no one knew what the hell was going on. But it was provocative. It was amazing. it was a simpler game for a simpler time. All those thousands of hours spent in 24-7 internode 2 fort with friends. I remember.
