Best Share Trading Platform for Investing in US Shares with Sign-Up Bonuses?

Hi, I'm looking at getting into investing and was wanting to invest in US stocks.

I obviously need a trading platform and thought I should use one with low fees and/or generous sign-up bonuses. However, when I look for trading platforms with sign up bonuses, they're either very little ($10) or only available to US residents.

Any recommendations for platforms I can use in Australia to get some sort of sign up bonus? I have about $5000 to invest.

  The sign up bonus is not significant in the long run. interactive brokers has extremely low fees and USD exchange rate spreads.

  IBKR otherwise get rekt by currency fees from selfwealth, stake etc

  Etoro, I think if you use a referral you both get $50. I've been using it for a month now, has been good. I like the copy trader functionality and UI.
